My name is Sarah Marohn. My name is Sarah Marohn. I teach grades K – 2 at St. John – St. James. My ministry began when I was assigned to teach grades 1 – 2 at Abiding Word, in Houston, Texas. I also served as a part – time teacher at Trinity, in Kiel, WI for a year and a half.
I attended grade school at Emanuel Lutheran, in New London, WI and high school at Fox Valley Lutheran, in Appleton, WI. After graduating from FVL in 1995, I continued my education at Martin Luther College, in New Ulm, MN. I graduated from MLC in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree.
After graduating from MLC, I married my husband Corey. We moved to Houston, Texas and began our teaching careers together. After 2 years of teaching the Lord called me to be a full time mother. God has blessed us with five precious children. Lynsey, Emily, Hailey, Abby and Ethan. They are all very active and keep us running on a daily basis.
A favorite Bible passage of mine is 2 Peter 3:18 – “But grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever.” It is a true blessing to teach children and help them grow in their knowledge of Jesus on a daily basis.
